“Delikatna przyjemność i Światło” is a literal translation of the alliteration found in the English version: Light Delight and the Light. The title unfolds as a triple variation on the word light, serving as a nod to the medium that the Wrocław-based duo kinoMANUAL has been exploring for several years. This medium is light itself — a source of respite and pleasure, a moment of pause from the intensity of our relationship with reality.

Light, in their work, distorts scale, disrupts the flow of time, and through its motion, draws the viewer into a playful experience. This is one of the guiding ideas behind kinoMANUAL’s ongoing series of installations and performances titled StillFrame Cinema.
