Kinomural is an event beyond studio cinemas and galleries which transform urban space into works of art available to all. For one evening the walls of the Nadodrze district is entrusted to artist from all over the world. lt become canvases for moving pictures. However, these will not be typical graffiti murals, but ephemeral projections in various forms ‒ from video-art through sound performance and experimental cinema, to audio-visual installations. Kinomural is not a festival nor an art review. It is a new film-related formula that allows audio-visual projections to happen simultaneously after dusk, on lateral walls of buildings located in selected districts of the city. This year the temporary art pieces was displayed on September 19 from 7:30 pm till 10 pm on 5 walls in the Nadodrze district.
