“Restless Cinema” is a kind of pocket cinema where all elements are the consequences of form, material and rhythm of a 199 frames long loop. Despite that, the film lasts as long as viewers need to understand its soft, smooth and endless nature.
The film consist of 199 hand-made cyanotypes, edited digitally into 4 minute long loop. Originally “Resstless cinema” was made as vertical composition for Kinomural 2019 – a new film-related art fair that allows audio-visual projections to happen simultaneously after dusk, on lateral walls of buildings located in selected districts of the city of Wroclaw.
“Restless Cinema” was also adapted to art instalation in ASIFA Austria’s public showroom ASIFAKEIL in Vienna.
